Crock Pot BBQ Chicken!

This was not my husband's and my favorite meal but I thought I would post it because it was one I tried and maybe someone else would like this?

Ingredients:
-4-6 pieces boneless skinless chicken breasts, I put them in frozen
-1 bottle BBQ sauce
-1/4 c vinegar
-1 tsp. red pepper flakes
-1/4 c brown sugar
1/2 - 1 tsp. garlic powder

Directions:

1. Mix everything together to make the sauce, well of course everything but except for the chicken!
2. Then add the chicken to the crock pot and pour sauce over it.

3. Then cook on your chosen setting. I chose low because I put it in too soon but it made the chicken very very dry so if I was going to make this again I would try to make it on high.

Serve it with rice and put extra sauce over the rice.

  1. Wow that looks so yummy, and so easy. I would love to make this. I am thinking it will work great for other types of meats too. Thanks for sharing

  2. I love cooking with a slow cooker. The secret is to have the right size of slow cooker for the amount of food in there.
I have one small and two large slow cookers and use them often.
When I cook a whole chicken, I don't add any water, just seasonings and it always comes out juicy.
I'm going to try your recipe as I love BBQ sauce and I'll let you know how it went.
    Thanks for the post.
